The Arts


The Links, Incorporated has a strong and rich record supporting the performing and visual arts, especially where it focuses on works of artists of color.  The Arts Facet is a means to increase and expand art activity and integration within our chapters and partnerships by sowing the seed of creativity within our community.

Health and Human Services


The Health and Human Services (HHS) Facet formed in response to the chronic health disparities that persist in our communities and result in the decreased life expectancy of African Americans.  This Facet’s goal is to promote and facilitate programs that support the maintenance of good health and the elimination of chronic health disparities in communities of color through education, health advocacy, and optimal utilization of health resources.

International Trends and Services


The International Trends and Services (ITS) mission is to expand the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and cultural needs of people of African descent throughout the world.  The goal is to provide opportunities for tangible service in other countries.  This facet provides personalized methods for assisting and improving the lives of women, children and families worldwide through long-term programs committed to empowerment and public policy leadership in advocating for social justice.

National Trends and Services


The vision of the National Trends & Services Facet (NTS) is to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers - through leadership, advocacy, education, and community services.  This is done with sustainable and measurable programs and collaborative partnerships.

Services To Youth


The Services to Youth (STY) Facet provides a range of innovative, substantive and sustainable K-12 programs contributing to key educational, social and community issues.  To equip black youth to use their intellectual achievements to become successful and productive citizens.  The Services to Youth facet uses an integrated approach to prepare young people to succeed as healthy citizens in the global workforce and to promote healthy lifestyles within families and communities.
